Tonight's Thursday Night Feature on WXYC explores releases by drummer Ted Sirota's Rebel Souls. Sirota's sound is influenced by reggae, afrobeat, modal, bop and post-bop and is devoted to realizing the theory that "musicians and artists ... help carve out a better future for all of us" through making space for creative expression and resistance. As always, 9 pm to midnight on WXYC 89.3.
