If you tuned in last night/this morning during the hours of 9:30PM-6AM, you might have mistaken WXYC's broadcast for John Cage's
4"33' stuck on repeat for 8 1/2 hours. What happened was some wise crack
phoned a bomb threat in to the Student Union, forcing the station to shut down and evacuate. Needless to say we're back on the air in one piece, but do look forward to a hopelessly stale string of songs about bombs and fire for the next few weeks ad nauseam.
